  The Nature of the Business: SULTAN STEEL s.a.r.l. was established in December 1995, as the independent trade division of Sultanium for industry and general trade. SULTAN STEEL deals with the trade of all kinds of steel needed in metallurgical productions, in addition to deformed steel for construction. Moreover, SULTAN STEEL provides a wide range of steel processing services in addition to various steel productions. The company is divided into three divisions: trading, Steel Services, and Manufacturing. Maintaining a steady growth, SULTAN STEEL started to build its own way among steel traders, and after ten years of operations, SULTAN STEEL is ranked among top five steel traders in Lebanon. From 1998 till now SULTAN STEEL started to enhance its productions where they introduced the following productions: 1- Trapezoidal corrugated sheet line, 1998. 2- C channel perlins line, 1999. 3- Sinusoidal corrugated sheet line, 2000. 4- Cut to length line, 2002. 5- Slitting line, 2003. From the steel trade perspective, what gave the push to SULTAN STEEL is the growth in external purchases, mainly from Italy, Egypt, Slovakia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Serbia and Montenegro, India, and Ukraine. This step gave the company a better profit margin on sales, which enabled the continuity of positive growth.
